Bathing your kid can sometimes be tricky. The secret to giving a fun and safe bath is to gather all the materials you will need, place them next to bath area within easy reach, and lay out a towel so you can quickly wrap kid up after the bath. Make bath time even fun with animal washcloths.
For younger kids, the best bath toys are brightly colored ones they can use in the water. Involve the kids in your quest to buy some good bath toys as well. In time you will have a nice collection of educational bath toys and plenty of things to ensure the kids will be looking forward to their bath each and every time.
By the time, your kid reaches the preschool years, he may actually enjoy the prospect of bath time, and all those screaming sessions of his infancy and toddlerhood should have ended. Use this time to teach about the body, cleanliness and hygiene. With all that water and soap suds around, there’s plenty of opportunity for fun too!
1. Blow bubbles. More fun in the bath!
2. Introduce some dolls, and let her wash them while you wash her.
3. Paint on the sides of the bath tub - use shaving foam, bath tub crayons.
4. Add novelty to the bath experience. Freeze one of her bath toys (put some water and the toy in an empty carton and freeze).
